Kitchener local to break Guinness World Record
The attempt to beat world’s longest uninterrupted sleep
record of 18 hours
(Friday, March 13, 2020) - A Kitchener native, Judy Davis, 52, will attempt to make it into the Guinness Book of World Records by sleeping for 20 hours beating record holder Danny Dubois of France, who dozed for 18 hours straight.
During the event sleep doctor, Arman Jacklish will ensure that proper procedure is followed, and he will provide sleep tips to the customers such as maintaining a rigid sleep schedule and avoiding electronic devices in the bedroom to attain a successful sleep.
Christine Magee, co-founder and president of Sleep country Canada will be hosting this event at 500 Fairway Road South, Kitchener at 9 a.m. on March 13th, World Sleep Day.
“I will beat that Frenchman handily,” says Davis while stating that she slept for 25 hours straight once.
